WNB 30: SEVEN DAYS - MASAI MARA - NAKURU - AMBOSELI CAMPING SAFARI

The Masai Mara game Reserve is arguable Kenya's most popular game sanctuary.It is the most visited game reserve in kenya.The film "Out of Africa" was made to a great extent in this santuary.There is a profusion of all types wildlife including the big five.A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles from the serengeti plains across the Tanzania boarder and the Mara river to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late june.The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from july to August.The game Reserve abounds with birdlife since close to about four hundrend and fifty species have been recorded.Hot balloon safaris are readily available in the park.

DAY 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

8.00hrs: Leave Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. On arrival proceed to the campsite. After a short rest, proceed for a game drive in search of Black manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Cheetah, Buffalos and other plain's game.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: Masai Mara

07.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to camp for lunch. After lunch, a further game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 3: Masai Mara

Full day game viewing in the Mara with an optional nature walk or a visit to a nearby Maasai Village in between the meal breaks.

 DAY 4: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

08.00 hrs - After an early breakfast, leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Once in Nakuru proceed for a game drive at Lake Nakuru often described as the "WORLDS GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE".

Return to the hotel / camp for dinner and overnight.

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Nakuru for Nairobi and continue to Amboseli. Lunch en-route. Once in the National park proceed to view game as you head to camp.

DAY 6: Amboseli

Amboseli national park and surrounding game reserve cover 1260 square miles and is mostly arid woodland with a series of swamps and the lakes that provide a year round water supply for the wildlife. Amboseli sits in the shadow of mt.kilimanjaro and is known for it's large elephant population and other big game that is attracted to the area by underground springs fed from mt. Kilimanjaro.

06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to camp for breakfast. 15.30 hrs: After lunch a further game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 7: Amboseli - Nairobi

After breakfast leave camp for the last game drive as you leave Amboseli National Park for Nairobi .

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

- Sleeping bag.
- Small suitcase or rucksack (excess luggage can be securely left at our offices, free of charge).
- Sturdy safari clothes, jeans, T-shirts, jumper, or anorak for cool evenings and early mornings.
- Torch, toiletries, bath towel and insect repellant
- Film for the duration of the safari.
