WNB 26: SEVEN DAYS MASAI MARA / NAKURU / AMBOSELI

The Masai Mara game Reserve is arguable Kenya's most popular game sanctuary.It is the most visited game reserve in kenya.The film "Out of Africa" was made to a great extent in this santuary.There is a profusion of all types wildlife including the big five.A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests,zebras,and gazelles from the serengeti plains across the Tanzania boarder and the Mara river to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late june.The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from july to August.The game Reserve abounds with birdlife since close to about four hundrend and fifty species have been recorded.Hot balloon safaris are readily available in the park.

DAY 1

8.00hrs: Leave Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. On arrival proceed to the campsite/lodge. After a short rest, proceed for a game drive in search of Black manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Cheetah, Buffalos and other plain's game. Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

07.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to camp/lodge for lunch. After lunch, a further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.

DAY 3

Full day game viewing in the Mara with an optional nature walk or a visit to a nearby Maasai Village in between the meal breaks. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.

 DAY 4

08.00 hrs-.-After an early breakfast, leave Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Once in Nakuru proceed for a game drive at Lake Nakuru often described as the "WORLDS GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE". Return to the hotel / camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Nakuru for Nairobi and continue to Amboseli. Lunch en-route. Once in the National park proceed to view game as you head to camp/lodge. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.

DAY 6

06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to camp/lodge for breakfast. 15.30 hrs: After lunch a further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite / lodge.

DAY 7

After breakfast leave camp / lodge for the last game drive as you leave Amboseli National Park for Nairobi . Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
